Riccardo Agostini Workshop

It is my pleasure to host Riccardo Agostini’s painting workshop at The Bustard, Salisbury, SP3 4DU. My whole thing as a creator and a hobbyist is enabling people to become a bigger part of this incredible hobby of ours. I want to share my passion with painting with as many people as possible and my way of doing that is to host these classes. The briefing for the weekend is as follows

“Miniature painting masterclass”

In this workshop Riccardo will run through theory and techniques, working alongside each artist in the room to enable them to perfect their style and giving out all his secrets and thinking process in creating a competition quality miniature. The class is aimed at how to start a project, understanding volumes, painting lights and shadows, understanding different materials and placing them in the environment of your choice. All of this to create a cohesive result.

From army painting to high quality display models Riccardo will show you how he has achieved multiple awards at every major painting show around the world and how he uses his unique style to create the incredible box arts for Kimera and Pegaso Models.

Advanced day: in the advanced day the focus will be on how to finish a project and correct mistake to reach a higher level of perfection. The class will be limited only to 6 people to give each participant a lot of 1 on 1 time to be able to iron out any weakness they might have: from brush control to color mixing and anything in between. Participants could also bring a model they wish to finish and solve from home, instead of the one that was being worked on during the weekend.

-This is a “Brush Only” Workshop.
